8 серпня представники української делегації (до складу якої увішли представники АМКУ, МінЕнерго, МінІнфраструктури та Проекту SESAR) у супроводі пані Дасе Беркольде, директора департаменту контролю за державною допомогою Міністерства фінансів Латвійської Республіки, відвідали Лієпайську спеціальну економічну зону (далі – LSEZ) для обміну досвіду. Під час візиту сторони поділилися своїм досвідом з питань державної допомоги, включаючи вимоги щодо прозорості.

Як зазначила Даце Беркольде, Департамент контролю та моніторингу державної допомоги АМКУ  має добрі стосунки із Департаментом державної допомоги LSEZ. Враховуючи досвід адміністрації LSEZ, як уповноваженої установи щодо впровадження та моніторингу заходів державної допомоги у Латвії, програма візиту української делегації також передбачала зустрічі з адміністрацією LSEZ з метою вивчення цього досвіду.

Під час візиту гості ознайомилися з інструментами державної підтримки, які можна застосувати на території LSEZ, відвідали територію порту та аеропорту Лієпая, а також зустрілися з представником LSEZ SIA “Vecās Ostmalas Biznesa Park”.

5 серпня українська делегація відвідала Міністерство економіки Латвії та Центральний орган фінансів і підрядних організацій. Метою візиту було набуття досвіду з питань державної допомоги, вивчення кращих практик щодо питань контролю за державною допомогою в одній із держав-членів Європейського Союзу.

On August 8, representatives of the Ukrainian Competition Authority, accompanied by Ms. Dace Berkolde, Director of the State Aid Control Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia, visited the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (hereinafter – LSEZ) for an experience exchange visit. During the visit, the parties shared their expertise on State aid issues, including transparency requirements.
As noted by Dace Berkolde, the State Aid Control Department has a successful relationship with the LSEZ Department of State Aid. Given the experience of the LSEZ administration as a donor institution in implementing and monitoring State aid measures, the Ukrainian delegation’s visit program also included meetings with the LSEZ administration so that representatives of the Ukrainian Competition Authority could benefit from the LSEZ administration’s substantial experience and expertise.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the support tools that can be applied in the territory of LSEZ, visited the territory of Liepaja port and airport, as well as met with the representative of LSEZ SIA “Vecās Ostmalas Biznesa Parks”.

The Ukrainian delegation visited Latvia already this year on August 5, meeting with the Latvian Ministry of Economy and the Central Finance and Contracting Authority. The purpose of the visit was to gain experience on state aid issues by acquiring good practice in State aid control issues in one of the European Union Member States.
